Find your 20% and shoot it

The worst 20% of your actual personality is causing you the 80% of the damage.

But you can reverse it so these 20% gets you the 80% of the best benefits.

Despite my timeless interest in health. At my 11 years old I also prohibited in my parents house eating fries. Nothing fried allowed.

We literally fired fried food from our house.

But that was not always the case.

As you can see in the picture.


The discovery that changed my entire life

In 2019, when I was living in Bogotá, Colombia some friend told me about nootropics: "the limitless pills" as mentioned on the internet.

I could't wait to try it so I order a couple for same-week-delivery.

I need to try it now and feels like the limitless guy I thought.

Digging and digging on internet for several days.

And then I discovered the term biohacking.

It blows my mind. Some 'click' happens.

Wisdom theory and tech for health?

I need to know EVERYTHING.


From Dave Asprey , to Ben Greenfield and people closest to me like Grega Gostincar and my friend Melina Gioia Vicario -La Biohacker? which help me discovered and learn about biohacking.

At that moment I have 4 years of health tracking with my Apple Watch.

So I started digging even more on my data and tracking my changes.

I will never forget the first time I looked at my sleep history:

  • Only 20 minutes average of deep sleep.
  • My HRV average lower than 40 (now is +70)
  • I was constantly abusing of coffee and junk food.


Those insights were the foundation of taking in charge of my health again.

But recharged. Now doing with tech to do it more efficiently.

The first action I took was cutting-off coffee at 2pm.

And I feel the results immediately: 1h deep-sleep.


Why I didn’t felt comfortable with biohacking

Regarding my beliefs one thing that didn't match with myself was the idea of not seeing options to be a vegan biohacker. Meat, meat and meat everywhere.

Instead of that I was vegan most of the time (80% more or less).

But when I listen about Bryan Johnson I started getting in love with biohacking again.

But more as a philosophy, a way of life. Regardless your beliefs.

Yesterday I applied to his blueprint and I can't be more excited.

If you want to learn how to stop damage yourself. Here is the 5-step-framework by Bryan Johnson:

  • Step 1: identify your 20% rascal. Do it. Now. Now write it down.
  • Step 2: list what decisions they are and are not authorized to make. Write it again. Not later. Do it now.
  • Step 3: wait for them to appear. Be calm. Be present. Be in the now.
  • Step 4: approve or deny their requests using step 2 list. Re-read step 2. Build your discipline.
  • Step 5: celebrate happy you for stopping self harm. Be your best cheerleader. Reward yourself.
