5 Star Review - Chichi July 15, 2018 - One of the best experiences of my trip. I did a couple of experiences and this was my absolute favorite!! It felt like I met Van Gogh in the flesh! I learned so much history from him and laughed and cried at the amazing story of Van Gogh! People even stopped to take photos of him near the paintings!! Deff would do it again!

Walter was exceptional--very communicative before the event, open and interactive, extremely knowledgeable about Van Gogh, and fun. The environment of the Met made the entire experience more enjoyable and gave gravitas to the whole thing. My son and I didn't know what to expect, but we both agreed the show/experience was one of the highlights of our trip to NYC. Highly recommended.

At times I really felt like I was talking to Vincent Van Gogh and felt touched by the vulnerability in his words. I almost cried towards the end and I was left excited to rediscover Van Gogh’s paintings. What a rare treat to go to the museum with Van Gogh! You must discover the Met with this artist! It was so wonderful to hear Van Gogh’s first hand account as he’s painting your portrait. What a sweet and thoughtful memento. This is an unforgettable experience not to be missed!

If you’re looking for something different, something fun, and something interesting I highly recommend this. Walter knows his Van Gogh inside out and he looks so much like Vincent himself, that people were taking pictures of him as he stood next to Van Gogh’s famous self portrait! Walter is very knowledgeable, professional, and was really just a wonderful guide. Of course, we also loved having our portraits done on the Met steps!!

His stories were peppered with interesting tidbits and not so commonly known facts. Walter also has the right balance of dramatics to keep his audience engaged. Thanks for a fabulous time Walter!
