How a speed test works?

The purpose of a speed test is to provide you with accurate results regarding the quality of your connection. To do this, our test uses three types of measurement:

1. The ping, corresponding to the latency time of your connection. That is to say the time required to send and return a data packet between your terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone) and the server used for the test. The lower the latency, the faster the communication is established. Take this data into account in particular if you are keen on online games or if you watch films and series online.
2. The download speed of your connection: this is the speed at which data from the Internet network is routed to your terminal. This flow determines, for example, the downloading of files and the display of web pages.
3. The upload speed: this corresponds to the information sent by your computer on the Internet (emails, photo sharing on social networks...).

How to interpret the results after the test?

If your ping is less than 30 ms, it is excellent! Between 30 and 60 ms, it is considered very good and between 60 and 100 ms, as good. Is its value between 100 and 200 ms? It is then acceptable, but be careful, it becomes mediocre once it exceeds 200 ms. From 300 ms, it is even downright bad.

Do not hesitate to consult the promise of your operator in Saudi Arabia after having carried out your test.

Data is displayed for two years. After two years, the oldest data is removed from the maps once a month. Geolocation precision depends on the reception quality of the GPS signal at the time of the test. For coverage data, we only retain tests with a maximum geolocation?precision of 50 meters.
