Find and Follow Your Passion

It was early on when I found my passion and it has driven me my whole life...

When I was in the 6th grade, my mother made a life-changing decision: she bought me a Mr. Microphone, and the rest was history. I had found my calling.

In my teenage years I read a book called Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is: How to Make a Fortune with Public Speaking.

In high school I was the morning announcer over the intercom, leading students in the Pledge of Allegiance, doing announcements and letting people know what lunch eas that day.

At Concordia College I was the in house announcer for basketball games.

After college I was a pastor for 14 years, giving up to 150 unique speeches a year.

At the same time I was also traveling, speaking all over America.

In 2002 I left being a pastor to speak full time.

Soon I had my own television show and co-hosted Zig Ziglar's television show, True Performance.

Since 1988 I have traveled all over the world giving speeches to groups as small as 20 and as large as 25,000.

I'm a member of the Motivational Speakers Hall of Fame and Inc magazine named me one of the top 100 leadership speakers.

There's nothing I love more then standing in front of a crowd sharing with them lessons on how to improve their life and business.

Now, in addition to my own speaking, I help other speakers find their voice, hone their craft, and perfect their message. I'm passing along the gifts that so many others, like Jim Rohn, John Maxwell, and Zig Ziglar gave to me. The gift of mentorship. It's all about creating a lasting impact.
