FIND A DENTIST

One of the things every dentist will tell you is the importance of regular dental checkups in order to prevent the occurrence of dental disease. However, few dentists ever point out how difficult it is to find a good dentist in some areas. With the internet today, it should be easy to locate a good reputable dentist that can be trusted. And if it wasn’t easy then, it sure is easy now. Thanks to the Uganda dental Association.

The Uganda Dental Association is the officially registered body that brings together all dental surgeons, retired or practicing in the country. While it was started initially to benefit the dental surgeons in the country, the Uganda dental association has evolved over the years to become a link between the dentists and the public.

This year, the UDA has gone a step ahead to allow the public the opportunity to locate reputable dental surgeons around them. No more guess work, no more trial and error. We have done this by creating the “find a dentist” feature on our website (www.ugadent.org). This feature is open to everyone who visits the website. It came on the backdrop of a long list of complaints from members of the general public that they were being conned by unscrupulous people masquerading as dentists, doing foolhardy work for them and yet charging exorbitantly for it.

How does it work?

One simply has to go to the website (www.ugadent.org) and on the home page, click on the find a dentist tab. This redirects to another page where one is given the option to search for a dentist either by their name, by their practice name, by their locale, etc. So whether you are looking for a long lost dentist who did really good work for you, or you are just in the market for a good dentist who wont fleece you, this is the place to be.
