When I started my own coaching and consulting business in November 2021, it was clear to me that I needed an online conferencing system. Naturally, my first choice was Zoom, as there was no real alternative to this software at the time. Zoom had 10 million users at the time. So I went with the flow and learned all the features that were available in the paid version. That kept me busy at first, but also made me happy, because I love learning new things, especially in the technological field, and I was able to give other people tips and help. Since the vast majority of coaches use Zoom, there is also a common knowledge base and one can easily help the other with questions. Was I satisfied? As a coach, I know that there is always a better way. Both for me and for my clients. That is my daily business. Seeing how things can be done better and getting exactly that out of my clients. So I am constantly alert to new technologies and in August 2023 I actually came across a new, up-and-coming platform called BeeKonnected. At first I smiled because everything was presented so cutely. The bees (users), the beehive (feed), Live in the Hive shows, groups but also networking like here on LinkedIn. Completely new networks opened up for me and at the same time 4 new ways of monetizing my activities. I would like to talk about this in the next newsletter.
