Financial Literacy with Midland

Financial Literacy with Midland

Imagine you’re on a journey to discover hidden treasures, except these treasures are not gold coins, but skills that help you handle money like a pro. Starting in March, Family Self-Sufficiency(FSS) is teaming up with Midland Bank to offer classes at no charge you’ll learn simple ways to manage your money—like how to build better credit, how to start saving for a car, and even how to plan to buy a home one day.??

Think of Midland Bank as your friendly guide on this treasure hunt. They will show you how to keep track of your money, make better budgets, and set goals you can actually reach. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming in March:??

  • March 4th: Banking Basics? Learn how a bank works, why a checking account is important, and how to keep your money safe.?

  • March 11th: Budgeting? Discover how to organize your bills, figure out where your money goes, and plan for the future.?
  • March 18th: Retirement? Yes, retirement sounds far away, but it’s never too early to learn how to save for your golden years.?

?FSS wants to make sure you have a full team behind you. That’s why we’re joining forces with other RHA programs—like Jobs (helping you find and keep work) and ROSS (supporting you in different aspects of daily life). By sharing ideas and resources, we can help you build a stronger path to a bright financial future, one step at a time.?

Are you ready to pick up the tools you need to handle your finances with confidence? Or maybe you know someone who could use a little help???

Keep your eyes open for more details on class schedules. FSS and Midland Bank are thrilled to join forces and empower residents with the know-how to make their money work better for them. Just like any good treasure hunt, the reward—a more secure future—is well worth the journey.?

End of story—but the beginning of your financial adventure!?
