Absa Bank Uganda has partnered with MOGO Loans in a UGX19 billion deal to help boda boda riders acquire electric bikes on hire purchase. Since May, MOGO Uganda has financed nearly 870 electric motorbikes, preventing about 70 tonnes of CO? emissions.

I&M Bank Launches Express Go Digital Account

I&M Bank Uganda has introduced the Express Go Digital Account, a service designed to simplify banking for users through mobile wallet transfers. The account allows free bank-to-wallet transfers, facilitating more accessible and affordable banking services. Users can open the account with a minimal deposit of UGX 10,000 via the I&M On-The-Go app.

This new offering promotes financial inclusion and digital banking, providing a secure and paperless way to manage finances. It aligns with the bank's commitment to enhancing banking accessibility while supporting environmental sustainability.
