No Financial Industry experience? No problems! Aussie wants to talk to you!

It is interesting how many people I speak to on a daily basis that say to me "Oh, I have always though Mortgage Broking would be something I would really enjoy doing but I don't have any experience in the finance sector."

There are a couple of stories about some of our Aussie Mortgage Brokers that address just that and I think that you may be surprised!

• One of our top performing brokers in WA came to us 2 years ago as a tradesman.  He had been a carpenter for over a decade and now, two years into his career, he is exceeding all of his goals and targets and has built an extremely successful business under the Aussie banner
• We have a Senior Aussie Broker that made the decision to have a career change from a very successful IT position, under employ of a reputable, worldwide company at the age of 55.  Now with Aussie, he is making a considerably higher income and has the flexibility he was always seeking and working the hours he worked for others to now benefit his own business.
• A highly regarded Senior Aussie Broker that has been with Aussie for over eight years came to us as a single mother looking to re-enter the workforce in a flexible work arrangement that would allow her to work full time to support her family but still be able to do school drop-offs, attend her kid's sporting and award days, sit on the committees to support their extra curricular activities and be financially stable enough that they would have a comfortable lifestyle.

As I look around the broker floor today, sitting in front of me I see brokers that in their previous positions have come from IT, Administration, Mining, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Teaching, Supermarket Management, Sales Rep'ing, Home Building, Customer Service, Wharf Management, Logistics, HSE, Payroll and a Policeman.
