Financial Difficulties
Dear LinkedIn family,
I could really use your help. This year I have shared a lot of valuable information with you, solved some of your biggest problems and concerns, and answered the questions that you came to me for assistance with. I performed most of this work for free with a smile, an encouraging heart, and an abundance of support.
I have to be brutally honest now. I can't fake it till I make it. I am no longer online due to financial difficulties. I need work and haven't been approached with any lately.
On the 20th of this month, I will no longer have electricity. There are 9000 of you, my only family and friends. If just one-third of you would contribute a dollar, I would be happy and content to have made it one more month without freezing to death. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't absolutely something that I could live without. Please don't judge me based on this request. I have heard it said more than once that if you don't ask for help when you need it, then people will ask you why you waited too late. It is a humbling and embarassing experience that I pray you will never know.

Thank you in advance for your comments, well-wishes, or donations. I might be able to check my messages once more before Tuesday if it permissable. Otherwise, I hope to reunite with you all sometime in the New Year.
Sincerely,
Lorraine Price
Dear friends and followers of Lorraine Price: I am forwarding this message from her. "My last post was about financial difficulties, It's not what it sounds like. I have no debt, no credit cards, etc. I was referring to my lack of income. I was invited to stay with someone in a camper, and after a few months that person moved out, leaving me knowing that I had no income and no way to pay the electric bill. I didn't know this was going to happen. I was so focused on writing book reviews that I wasn't worried about making money at the time. I have been living in survival mode for the past year. I eat sandwiches, take cold showers, and rely on my only neighbor for limited transportation. The only time I can be on the Internet is occasionally from my neighbor's phone. I live in a very rural area. I'm being evicted at the end of November. "I have no place to go, no family or friends, no transportation, and no place for my belongings or pets, In closing, I just want to say that prayers are appreciated. I am praying for a miracle. Specifically for a fully-furnished house on a farm with Internet access as my permanent home or until I am back on my feet. Thank you for your understanding and kindness. If you feel that you can assist or be an answer to a prayer, please text me at 205-496-3788. I have limited minutes on a Safelink phone, so only serious replies, please. Sincerely, Lorraine Price. P.S. -- I did find a resource that would pay the entire electric bill, but my landlord chooses not to go through with it because she doesn't want it turned back on while I am still here."

7 年It's the season for giving, & sharing. It takes courage to reach out into the public asking people for help when you are down on your luck. Read her profile. She is self employed. More than likely, all she has is Electricity, her Laptop and her cats to keep her company, That's it! If you read deeper into her profile she has helped a lot of people build their projects, write reviews and articles. Some, were written for free. I know, because some of the people on her list, I know them. If you feel uncomfortable, consider donating a Visa Gift card and see if you can transfer some money using the card or inbox her for an address and send the gift card to her. A little can become much! Here's the link. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/send-money-online. Additional options: Job/work referrals, FREE business building coaching, small personal gifts, FREE Wordpress website, FREE business cards, at the least a Christmas or Holiday card. Everyone has something to offer. The question is -- during this season, how can you help her? Blessings to all of you. Pastor Antonio L. Crawford
