Challenge

A Funeral Director was looking to buy a new Mercedes Benz hearse (2024 213 series Duffy E 220D) – costing £139K – to enhance the company’s brand image and expand their funeral service operations.

Subcontracting the hearse would also generate extra income.


Solution

Linda Wickens, Area Sales Manager for Braemar Finance, worked closely with the Funeral Director to agree an appropriate funding solution. After discussions, they were offered a Hire Purchase agreement payable over 84 months (seven years), which gave our customer a long-term view of their repayments, helping with budgeting.

Result

Securing the funding not only enabled the purchase of the new Mercedes hearse, but led to the expansion of their operations; improved their brand reputation and boosted their income.
