Finance Associate (Job# 2023-18)

Essential Functions of the Job:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing and maintaining financial records for income received from the branches and other sources; providing Administrative support to the Director of Finance and Library Administration; and performing other library-related or finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, three years of progressively responsible administrative, accounting, or bookkeeping experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities; ability to handle and maintain confidential and/or sensitive information; reliable transportation to attend training, meetings, or other assigned duties at other branches or off-site locations as required.

Physical Demands:

Reading materials and providing verbal assistance to library users in English; manual dexterity to use keyboard and other office equipment; generally sedentary position with occasional standing and walking; occasional bending, reaching, and stooping; lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 lbs.; pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 100 lbs.; distinguishing sounds at various frequencies and volumes; distance vision sufficient to distinguish people or objects under a variety of light conditions; vision sufficient to view computer screens and spine labels under a variety of light conditions.
