FINALLY PROUD....

It is almost twenty years that I have lived in Colorado. I moved here for the altitude...definitely not for the attitude....provincial and stagnant.

Although I have been an active citizen, I have missed the intellectual vibrancy of other places I have lived.

That changed last evening as I was checking on line for the news ( my television has been dormant for months). There ,lo and behold, was the man with a moral compass for whom I voted. None other than the very civilized, honorable Senator Michael Bennet speaking up and out on the US Senate floor on behalf of unempowered the millions who have been suffering thanks to the coldly calculating actions of the egotistical power mongers. My heart sang as he delineated the well founded grievances of millions of Americans, including thousands of Coloradans....past and present.

Thanks to his heart wrenching exhortation, I am proud to say that I live in Colorado.

I look forward to voting for him again! Honor is alive and well as exemplified by the noble Senator from Colorado, Michael Bennet! What a breath of fresh air and hope!
