If you use Instagram, this is a game-changer...
How annoying is it when you want to share multiple links in your Instagram bio but you can't (unless you used a tool like Linktree which wasn't ideal)?
Well...you can now add up to 5 links in your Instagram bio (see what it looks like below)!

After Instagram's announcement, I kinda feel sorry for Linktree.
The sad reality is, social media platforms can easily bury your business if they decide to copy your functionality & add it as a feature to their platform.
This is why I didn’t think BeReal had a long shelf life.
If your App’s primary USP is an easy-to-copy feature, then you’re at risk.
It’s a dog-eat-dog (or social platform eats feature-focused-Apps) world out there.
What do you think?
Happy Friday!! ??

1 年Running ads via a personal profile would only reduce the quality of content on Linkedin. Like big time! Everyone would post average content, then boost it with ads, and get a wide reach. As much as I would love this feature, I think it will exponentially reduce the quality of the feed and would discourage creators to be creative and innovative.

1 年The new Insta feature is no threat to Linktree. It appears to be designed to keep users in the app for as long as possible. The links open inside the Instagram app, meaning users must return to the app to view another link.? The link home page isn’t customisable, and users have to tap “see more” to view more than one link.

1 年Personal ads would be great but i'm not sure I could take the flood of LinkedInfluencers who will pay to grow their following to say they have a great personal brand
