Finally, AI for Hiring AI Talent

An old friend of mine, Andy Hunter, is the Managing Partner of Ridgeway Partners, an executive and board recruiting firm with offices in Boston, New York and London. They have recruited some of the top names in data analytics across the technology, government, retail and financial services sectors.

While Ridgeway is retained to help companies find senior-level data analytics, AI and software engineering talent, you may have noticed the surging demand for junior and mid-level data science and software engineering talent. Yet companies don’t have the tools to solve this increasing talent shortage; their options are either posting their openings on Indeed or Monster.com and then spending hours sifting through profiles of unqualified resumes, or paying hefty per-hire recruiter fees, which gets expensive quickly and doesn’t always make sense when you’re hiring candidates with a few years of work experience.

In response to this problem, two of Andy’s younger colleagues at Ridgeway, Josh King and BJ McLaughlin, have created HireAi, which connects companies to the best early-stage talent in the fields of data science, AI and machine learning, and software engineering. 

It's completely free for job-seekers and helps them find companies who are hiring in this space outside the “usual suspects” like Google, Facebook, and Amazon. HireAi pre-approves the candidates to ensure they are qualified. Additionally, HireAi is extremely cost-efficient, as companies receive an unlimited number of hires and user accounts for a low monthly or annual fee. They already have over 600 candidates on the site, and some big companies and AI-oriented VC firms have already signed up.
