FINAL PROJECT for the STUDENTS of ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING
Amedeo CILENTO
Zaman University Professor; Head of Departments: Architecture; Construction Management.
Here at Zaman, the students of Architectural Engineering of year 4 are preparing their thesis.
Under the supervision of Mr Maksat Omarov and myself, they have carried out a complete architectural design of a medium-size complex (12.000 to 15.000 m2) in Phnom Penh.
This was the first phase of a yearly-based project, focused on architectural and structural design.
They have worked with BIM technologies (Revit).
During the next phase, the students will calculate the structure of their buildings, with the help of the software ETABS.
The students could freely choose the theme of their design, agreed upon with the supervisors.
They have organized in three teams, with projects of a Hotel, a Multifunctional Hub and a Museum.
They have done a great job.
The projects were well developed, realistic and with a high degree of constructability.
Well done students!
