The Final Part!

The Final Part!

"Consistency isn’t always glamorous; sometimes it’s just showing up, even late, even unsure, but showing up anyway."

Finally, we’ve reached the end of this series, and honestly, my mind is screaming ‘I don’t want it to end. If you noticed, I have stalled on the last part of this series longer than expected. I could give a few excuses for this but I also had time to brood over why I have actually stalled, and I had to be honest with myself.

It was fear – fear of how to keep up with the momentum? Fear of consistency? The fear of now that I am closing out the series, what next? Fear of having enough to talk about?

So, I stalled. I stalled from sharing the final part because I thought if I could hold back from delivering the last piece of this series which you are expecting, maybe it will shield me from the next expectation of ‘so now, what next?' And 'what will be the next good thing she will have up her sleeve after this?'

It took me this long to understand the lesson I needed to learn in this process and it is a lesson that I am still learning. It is the concept of consistency and what it means to me. Consistency means showing up and how it may not be perfect or without its own fair share of downtimes, regardless you have to show up and never throw in the towel!

Again, we are at the end of the road with this series, and honestly? I wish it didn’t have to end! It’s been filled with those what-have-I-gotten-myself-into moments, and very recently it has given new meaning to consistency. What started as a way to share my experiences has become so much more.

There were times I doubted, moments I wasn’t sure I was ready to make that leap from Agency to the Client side. But I took that bold step and showed up anyway while continuously working and improving on myself.

And that’s what this series has been about: showing up for yourself, trusting the process, and knowing that even on the hardest days, you’re building something meaningful because the thing is, every lesson, every challenge, every win shapes you.

I hope you have seen pieces of your own journey here too; in the relentless pursuit of something greater.

I have shared the thrill of Agency life, where creativity has no limits, and every new brand brings its own adventure. And I have shared the grounding focus of the Client side, where the vision narrows, and you’re building one brand, day in and day out, with a deeper, long-term purpose.

Each side has its magic and challenges. Agency life has the rush of the next big idea; brainstorming, late nights, and the thrill of seeing a campaign come to life. But the client side? It’s about patience and consistency, about staying true to a vision, even when progress feels slow.

As I shared in the early part of this series, the lessons have been just as important as the destination, preparing me for even greater things ahead. This is only the beginning, and there’s so much more to come. I hope this series doesn’t come off as another perspire to maguire piece but it inspires you to truly take that leap, accept the challenges, and chase what lies ahead with confidence.

I look forward to connecting with you more with even more insightful pieces. Until then, cheers to taking that leap!

Oh my!!!! You said it all, the excitement, the gbasgbos, the creative highness that comes after a long brainstorming session, and the thrill of exploring a new industry/brand when assigned to you. Oh, did I mention the thrilling campaign ideas and contributions from different camps? “Let’s do it this way... oh, this would work!” ?? It brings a healthy competition about which campaign idea creatively resonates best. Motolani Babalola, ACIM, ANIPR This was a very good read for me!!! You’ve truly reminded me of the vibrant, dynamic energy of agency life!
