Final day of our Exchange in Windhoek

The last day of our exchange started today at the KfW on site. We met the director of KfW Windhoek Mrs. Beatrice Lucke and the Project Coordinator for Water and Urban Development Mrs. Marie Louise Wimo and updated each other about the actual stand of our work in Namibia, especially Windhoek. The exchange was guided by Thomas Feidieker, Counsellor for Development Cooperation of the German Embassy. We were happy that the interest of all sides point to the same direction. Thanks for this open exchange and hopefully our projects can stimulate each other.

After that we focused on experiences with our Public Private Partnership Models. Also we stopped at the Scientific Services of the City of Windhoek. Kosmas Nikodemus and his team control all water qualities of the Windhoek Water cycle and make sure the quality is good for the customers at any time. Thanks for the tour through your laboratory.

At last we had a Wrap-up session with the Strategic Executive of Windhoek Mr. Ludwig Narib. All participants gave a positive reflection of our exchange and spotted a variety of themes we can co-work on. How we will do this is our main point of co-work while the Namibian-Delegation will visit Bremen in the beginning of December.

Thanks to everyone who made our stay in Windhoek a success for our upcoming partnership between Water Operators and the partnership between City of Windhoek and City of Bremen.
