Filming for LLaDs!

I recently volunteered to shoot a short promo for a local Dad's group in Portishead.

Having attended each session for the past 6 months or so (once I found my feet after moving to the area!), I realised it's a great idea and it's a shame not more local Dad's (and Mum's!) come along. After speaking to the organisers I thought it would be a great idea to shoot a short promotional video to show off some of the facilities available, how much fun it is for the children, and also draw attention to the awesome bacon butties on offer. Not to be missed!

Filmed on Saturday morning at one of the 90 minute sessions, I used minimal gear so as to be non-intrusive. I had my Canon 7Dmk2 for the slow-motion shots, and set up my BMCC in the corner of the room to interview some of the Dads. I edited it together on Sunday night and did some basic motion graphics work on the logo. I hope the video will go down well and encourage more people to come along to the fun sessions!
