Filling the gaps in the cloud

Yes, we are different. We are trying to think differently. Of course, we want to be innovative. We want to build the future with modern and cool stuff. I am sure about it. Our difference in approach is a result of our big customer base. We want to bridge the past and the future. It is easy to be disruptive, contrary to be respectful in approach. Well, we have gained so much from our customers. And we cannot forget about them, about their legacy. It means for example we cannot push them into microservices immediately if they feel comfortable with their current monolith apps. This apps have been working on-premise for years. We respect our customers' work around the performance and the stability. That is why we think, our customers could easily move their enterprise workloads from on-premise to OCI, with minimal effort and side effects. They can stay there, in the cloud, unchanged as long as they want to, with the legacy stuff. Of course, after the switch to the cloud, customers' systems can evolve if needed. The customer could transform themselves, their IT systems, in any way which suites current and the future needs. This is one of the crucial things about which Leo Leung has said a lot here, in this great video. We are filling the gap, we are building something which will fire up the engine. And next the ship will get the momentum to reach the clouds. :)
Have a nice day!
Luke.
