The global Filipino nursing community celebrates the recent appointment of two outstanding Filipino nurses, Francis Fernando MSc Adv HCP (Open), BSN RN, NMP , and Francis Byron Opinion. RN,MAN,USRN , as members of the FiND Global Advisory Board. This board, dedicated to advancing nursing standards and practices worldwide, welcomes Francis and Byron to join its existing team of five advisors.
Francis Fernando MSc Adv HCP (Open), BSN RN, NMP , is an Associate Director of Nursing and Quality at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. He was the founding director of the Filipino Nurses Association United Kingdom. In his advisory role, Francis will represent Europe, particularly the United Kingdom and Ireland. His extensive experience in nursing leadership and quality assurance makes him an invaluable asset to the board. "It's an honor to represent Filipino nurses in Europe and contribute to global nursing standards," Francis remarked. "I look forward to working with my colleagues to address key challenges and promote excellence in nursing."
Francis Byron Opinion. RN,MAN,USRN , the current Chief Nursing Officer at KIMS Health Hospital and Medical Centers in Bahrain, also brings his expertise to the Global Advisory Board. Before his current role, Byron was the Assistant Director of Nursing at King Hamad University Hospital. He will represent the Middle East, focusing on Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Byron's leadership in nursing and healthcare management positions him perfectly to provide insights and guidance on regional and global nursing issues. "Being part of the Global Advisory Board is a significant opportunity to positively impact nursing practices in the Middle East," Byron said. "I am committed to advancing the profession and supporting our Filipino nurses in their vital roles."
