FII Institute COO, Rakan Tarabzoni, Invites Everyone to Join the Healthy Humanity Initiative
FII Institute
FII Institute is a global nonprofit foundation with an investment arm and one agenda: #ImpactOnHumanity
Last week, the Global Healthspan Summit in Riyadh served as a transformative platform to advance the FII Institute's Healthy Humanity Initiative, focusing on new pathways and frameworks to drive impact within the healthspan ecosystem. The summit brought together global leaders in healthcare, policy and technology to tackle a critical question: as people live longer, how can societies ensure those extra years are spent in good health?
Among the influential voices at the summit was the Chief Operating Officer of the FII Institute, who presented a bold vision for reimagining global healthcare—shifting the focus from treating diseases to preventing them. The COO’s remarks highlighted the economic, social, and ethical necessity of moving from reactive healthcare models to proactive, longevity-driven solutions.
Investing in a Healthier Tomorrow
"Today, the average lifespan is around 70 years. In two decades, that will rise to 80—but how many of those years will be healthy and productive?" the COO posed to an audience of global decision-makers. "Longevity must be accompanied by vitality. Otherwise, aging populations will strain economies, healthcare systems, and families alike."
Launched at FII8, #HealthyHumanity is more than an initiative—it’s a call to action to build a society where preventive medicine, holistic health, and global well-being are not just aspirations but realities. The FII Institute is inviting corporations, insurers, governments, and medical equipment manufacturers to join this global movement and pioneer the #HealthyHumanity initiative worldwide.
By the end of 2025, the initiative aims to achieve key milestones:
Rather than continuing to pour resources into late-stage treatments, the COO urged a shift toward early intervention and health monitoring. "Every dollar spent on prevention saves four dollars in treatment costs," Rakan Tarabzoni stated, citing various studies? that illustrate the long-term economic benefits of proactive healthcare policies." Governments, businesses, and individuals all stand to gain from this shift. This is not just about cutting costs—it’s about improving lives."
A Call to Action
FII Institute’s message is clear for both public and private sector leaders: the time to act is now. "Ministers of health, CFOs, policymakers, and insurers must rethink health spending. This is not an expense—it’s an investment in the future of society."
As Global Healthspan Summit 2025 concluded, one thing became evident: the conversation around health and longevity is shifting. With initiatives like the Healthy Humanity the prospect of a future where aging does not mean decline is closer than ever.
