We make business soooo much more complicated than it needs to be. Every business’s base intent truly is...make and keep your customers happy. So why are you doing so many extraneous things? You’re measuring this and creating a new procedure here. Why? Look at everything and start asking why and then why again and again and again. And if your final why isn’t...this makes life better for the customer in a tangible way...get rid of it.

This works for your personal life too. Figure out your base intent and make decisions around it. Want to run 5 miles? Dieting becomes easier...you look at a doughnut and it doesn’t match up with your base intent. You want your side hustle to be successful...then you’re not going to the bar tonight. Easy decision because you know your base intent.
