Figure 8: The Great Elliott Smith

In the last few days, I spent part of my free time exploring music in alphabetic order. In my previous review, I heard in detail Elliott Smith's music.

I cannot be more amazed by the sounds he brings to us but more about the lyrics and ideas of dealing with the worst parts of himself. Elliott opens and works in every word and note in his music with the disassociation on what probably was not aware, in terms of a genius person, his great accent for expanding consonant sounds and vocal chorus into a deep introspection of our selves. I decided to go into his Bandcamp and learn more about his history and creation. I felt overwhelmed by the expressions of love and respect for this man and his struggle with the complicated life he lived.

I want to raise a short and nostalgic memory in this post of his infinite legacy, as a figure 8, and his enormous capacity to do hard work knowing and showing what he was and how much he expected to improve for his benefit before his final destiny.
