Fighting For Ukraine: May 1st, 2023
Just listened to the latest episode - published May 1 - of the ??ighting For Ukraine podcast, from TDF soldier Yuriy Matsarsky. It has been extremely difficult for Yuriy in April; his mother (refugee and now far away from Ukraine) has become partially paralyzed and a few days ago a friend of Yuriy's was killed in battle. Another TDF comrade came back from Russian captivity and during that time he had been tortured so badly that he is now very seriously ill, disabled for life and a shadow of his former self.
This time there is very little of the humor and belief in the future that Yuriy in some incomprehensible way almost always manages to include in his podcast episodes. The heinous cruelty of the Russians, on the other hand, comes across very clearly.
I'm frustrated at not being able to help more concretely. So many in Ukraine are suffering badly from the hell of war and only Putin's Russia is to blame for this obscene insanity. We must support Ukraine, as long as necessary, so that Ukraine can fight back and finish off the invaders. For my part, I have no objections if the war in the future also becomes more tangible in Russian cities.
If you want to, and can, please do support Yuriy's family and his unique podcast from the front. Here is a direct link to a recurring, monthly gift
