Fighting Procrastination

Fighting Procrastination

I have recommended this Tim Urban Ted Talk more times than I'd care to admit. Whatever you are supposed to be doing right now, you need to stop making progress on something important and watch this 14-minute video on why you procrastinate. And then you'll be able to properly join in the celebration for Fight Procrastination Day today. Unless you end up in a Ted-Spiral.

Haha, I love how you’ve perfectly captured the irony of National Fight Procrastination Day! It’s so easy to get caught up in distractions, especially when we convince ourselves that "just one more video" won’t hurt. I’ve been there too—thinking that watching something unrelated is harmless, but it actually keeps pushing important tasks further down the list. What helped me stop that cycle wasn’t a fancy system, but simply having an accountability partner. It gave me the nudge I needed to stay on track and prioritize what really mattered. If procrastination is something you or someone you know struggles with, having that extra push from someone else can be a game-changer. Sharing the link just in case it helps someone: www.t.ly/4P_Ge

Things wouldn’t get done if it wasn’t for the last minute. Love this.

What a great topic! I’ll take a look at that today… Well, maybe not today but sometime soon!
