Handling complex transports in SAP Integration Suite
I was talking with a customer and they said "But Daniel, our transport process is more complicated for Integration Suite".?
We have a team that approves each transport and then an infrastructure team that is supposed to import it.
We just shipped the customer a patch (Screenshot below), so they can now separate the tasks into different groups. I think this makes the tool quite powerful for handling the transports and for the more complicated scenarios.
And you can also extend it with APIs to work with Jira/SNOW or where the business is approving the transports.
I think the fact that you can approve the transport of iFlows with full configurations makes the transport process much simpler.
Free SAP Course: Discovering SAP Business Technology Platform
SAP has a free course on SAP BTP and I wanted to share it with you.
In this course, learn how to integrate and extend applications. Moreover, add analytics, manage databases and handle data as well.
Should be a good course if you are trying to understand the platform and use it in your environment.
