In November 2015

11 women were killed by men.

4 of those women were killed after their 50th birthday.

3 of those women were killed by men they were personally connected to.


Christine Tunnicliffe-Massey 57,

Christine was found dead alongside with her husband. It is believed that Christine's throat had been slit by her husband, and that he then killed himself.

They had been married for 22 years.

There is very limited information.

We do not know Christine's story.

Jean Robertson 85,

Jean was found dead in her home. She had been beaten to death.

Her grandson pleaded guilty to her manslaughter and was detained in a secure hospital under the mental health act.

We don't know Jean's story.

Josephine Williamson, 83

Josephine was pushed down the stairs and strangled at her home in Berkshire. Her husband of 60 years pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

He was given a two year suspended sentence.?

We don't know Josephine's story.
