The ninth edition of FIFA Women's World Cup or FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 will be the first edition with multiple host countries (two this time) and more than one confederation (Australia is in AFC; the Asian Football Confederation while New Zealand is in OFC; the Oceania Football Confederation) involved.?Here are some other facts:??

?The FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in Australia and New Zealand. This will be the first time that two countries jointly host the tournament. ?Host cities- In Australia: Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth are the host cities while in New Zealand: Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Hamilton are the host cities.??

? The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 20 to August 20, 2023. It will feature a total of 32 teams competing for the title, meaning an expansion from 24 participating teams as in previous edition.?
