FIFA Fever in Riyadh

FIFA Fever in Riyadh

The International Football Contagion in Saudi Arabia

Apart from the fan zones, driving past café’s and in airport terminals, there are lounges for people to enjoy live matches. It’s electrifying to see a roaring crowd get absorbed when a goal is scored, especially when it’s the team that one has been rooting for.

The momentum of FIFA in Saudi Arabia is lightening hot! Green flags, green lights, high rises and towers all decked with green, making for an amazing-gorgeous skyline. The KSA football fever hasn’t died down. Every time the Saudi National team played, it was the best time to be in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. With tickets being sold out to the fan zones and honking cars filled with FIFA fans, added to the glitter and glamour of the Riyadhi spirit.?The national support is impossible to not notice. The Saudi team is just as good as the top reigning, all time champs, Argentina, France and Germany, even though the Saudi team didn’t make it against Mexico, they will next time. Will you be here when that happens?

Can you imagine all the pizazz that you will NOT want to miss from the capital city? As I said before, it’s a wonderful time to be in the capital!

Congratulations to the FIFA 2022 Qatar winning team, Argentina! A lot of amazing things will come your way. You will play against Saudi Arabia in the upcoming WC and it will be a FB contagion that fans will want to embrace enthusiastically. Looking forward to the next WC! Let’s celebrate for now and enjoy the moment as it happens. As they say that the first wins at a new location are always the best!

What an amazing intense final world cup match witnessed! The first half was intense as Argentina made two goals leaving the fans with the impression that they will be the winner! Then, the second half was another intense viewing as each team swerved the ball to the goalie with France catching up and making two goals of their own. How many world cup matches got extra time and penalty kicks to determine the winner? Very few and this was one of them. Messi and his charming kicks made for a great retirement ending. The audience was at the edge of their seats as fans were rooting for their favorite team. Mostly Argentinian fans were seen. This was by far the best soccer/football match witnessed by history in Qatar and in the world. Those who got to travel and see it for themselves have indeed added several pages to their sports diary of life.
