Broadacre farm incomes to rebound

Broadacre farm cash income is set to rebound by a projected 47 percent to a value of A$192,000 ($125,000; €115,000) per farm in 2024-25, according to the latest outlook report by the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences.

This comes after a significant drop to A$131,000 in 2023-24, which ABARES attributes to higher input costs and reduced production volumes.

New Forests completes Forest Fund III deployment

New Forests has acquired a forestry estate in New Zealand to complete deployment of its Australia New Zealand Forest Fund 3.

The asset manager has acquired part of Otiwhiti Station, located in the Turakina Valley near Hunterville in the Rangitikei district of the North Island of New Zealand.
