We’re looking for a skilled Field Engineer to join us for a critical hardware replacement project in Jersey. If you’re a professional with the right expertise and tools, this is your chance to contribute to a seamless, high-impact operation.

• Address: La Grande Route De St. Martins, St. Saviour, Jersey, JE2 7GS

Scope of Work:

Your primary task will involve replacing a tape drive in an IBM TS3100 tape library. While straightforward, this role is crucial and requires precision, technical acumen, and attention to detail.

Tools and Requirements:

To ensure project success, you’ll need the following:

Technical Tools:

• A Windows laptop with Wi-Fi access and admin rights
• Pre-installed software:
• TeamViewer
• Cisco Webex
• Microsoft Teams
• Zoom
• BlueJeans
• Terminal server emulators (e.g., PuTTY, Secure CRT)
• Cisco console cable (DB9 to RJ45 or USB to RJ45)
• USB drivers (for USB connection RS232)

Networking Tools:

• A mobile hotspot for tethering
