Field Controls Engineer - FULL TIME DIRECT PERM

V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Field Controls Engineer client in West Reading, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, direct hire position. in logistics & supply chain industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Education and Experience ?

• Consulting, operations and/or distribution experience in supply chain logistics
• 5+ years of field experience in distribution center operations, material handling technology, and warehouse software system technology.
• Mechanical Field engineering experience in Warehouse automation.
• Site Management experience
• Project Management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?

• Team leadership competencies, collaboration abilities, and cross-functional awareness.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem solving skills
• Think out of the box, problem solve and drive deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple client sites and act as an on the ground key account leader.
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to travel domestically with the possibility of international travel; however, this could change based on company’s impending business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Primary stakeholder in maintaining the successful operation of Client sites
• Controls & software knowledge across multiple technologies.
• Understand client site needs, support parts & services work as needed, identify opportunities.
• Immediately working with the appropriate team members internally at client and with the Client to ensure resolution of issues.
• Working to consistently deliver sites above and beyond the client performance agreements.
• Understanding of distribution center operations, material handling technology, and warehouse software system technology.
• Primary lifecycle services client contact for their region.
• Looking for opportunities to advise Client or assist beyond our contracted scope.
• Ensuring a thoroughly maintained site
• Supporting development efforts for the Lifecycle Services department such as process improvements, tool development, supporting departmental goals, infrastructure, and standard improvement.
• Ensure continuous improvement within the department
