Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) is a standard for exchanging healthcare information electronically. The basic building block in FHIR is a Resource. All exchangeable content is defined as a resource.
To assist our clients as a Medicare Quality Qualified Registry for MIPS clinic, APM Entity and CMS Web Interface submission types, we have launched SMART on FHIR quality measure get calls. This technology will considerably reduce provider burden in collecting and reporting their MIPS measures and provide real-time gap analysis and performance scoring.
Our SMART on FHIR project seamlessly pulls data from the EHR for specific measures, including HbA1c, Controlling High Blood Pression and Depression by conducting a patient match and pulling data using SMART on FHIR "get calls" for the quality measures corresponding FHIR resource for:
- Year-round measure collection and reporting
- Year-round gap analysis
- Year-round performance scoring in a central repository
