A few words from Qumu CEO Rose Bentley

With so much under way at Qumu as we grow our cloud business, transition to a SaaS model, and build new partner and reseller relationships, I’d like to start providing periodic updates on our progress. Following is an overview of recent key highlights and milestones. I look forward to sharing more in the future!

Productive Partnerships

Our partnership with GovSmart, announced late last year, exposes our enterprise video capabilities to hundreds of ?government agencies. As the second quarter was closing, we were inking a contract to provide our services to a unit of the Department of Defense and have received additional RFPs from other GovSmart customers. As we enter the government buying season, we are excited to continue to expand our government footprint with a partner that truly cares about their customers and understands their unique needs.

Distinctive Competencies

Qumu’s ability to provide reliable, secure video communications, solve complex network issues, consistently deliver a high-quality experience, and provide insights to improve engagement is differentiating.

But these capabilities are equally compelling in other markets with complex needs and stringent security or regulatory requirements. That’s why our new partner AT&T Global Video Solutions turned to Qumu to help a major financial services enterprise address challenges it encountered hosting simultaneous live meetings across its business.

Serving the Enterprise

Q3 is shaping up to be a watershed moment in our SaaS transformation. We are winning new customer commitments at an accelerating pace. Significantly, these commitments are coming from customers with clout in their categories as potential reference accounts. Recent wins include a multinational specialty chemicals company and a global professional services firm with insurance brokerage, risk management, investment advisory and management consulting lines of business. These wins are testament to the energy, expertise and enthusiasm our team is bringing to solving customers’ most challenging problems even as we continue transforming our own business.
