A Few Quiet Yarns April 28th

A fantastic turnout, cracking 150 people again, all yarning away with a full house, full balcony and about a 50:50 split of those who've been before and those who came for their first time.

With formalities between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, that was formalities not that it's very formal as AFQY is an environment crafted for creating relationships with a diverse group of people with a serious dose of serendipitous networking amongst a group of like-minded people with a Digital and Business background.

Thank you to everyone, attendees and sponsors - whom if you didn't meet in person but would like to connect, here you go and...

• Des Chang from 8Water, our first non-tech sponsor, a great guy with a team of Kiwi's bottling some of NZ's finest mineral water - you'll get a bottle to rehydrate all that moisture expelled having a yarn!
• Liston Pinto  Datagate's heading up ANZ representation with CEO Mark Loveys, as they continue their support of the AFQY Community - it will be Liston's 2ndAFQY, a great way to get started mate!
• Nicholas Glanfield returns as a sponsor, with the Stellar Consulting team... I don't think all of them fit on his Fat Bob Harley, but it's great to see them return for more good yarns - thanks for your support.
• Grant Dennis "The Whale" returns as a sponsor, every second event, a long-term attendee, sponsor and Life Member, make sure you get connected over a yarn.
• Dave Howden With a tap of his magic Umbrellar, all sorts of clouds happen with a fine English accent, jolly good, init?
• Ale!-Ale!-Ale! Alessandro, the Italian designer making beautiful movement with Nero Motion, is part of the AFQY Family
• Martin Smithson from Kordia joins for this his second time at the same time with a great understanding of the ethos of AFQY's no selling rule and what AFQY is hoping to achieve.
• Andrew Dentice who is a very patient person added a day late, and a fantastic part of the team, cheers!
