A few clicks can't hurt right? WRONG

Its all fun and games when you are dealing with clients who have high-priced products with a reasonable enough profit margin to be able to easily absorb the pressure of clicks. Using the general strategies available all over the internet, you are able to achieve an ACOS around 10% or even lower, leaving your client enthralled by the result.

However,?what if?your client wants you to advertise his product which is priced under 5 dollars with a profit margin hanging around a dollar only?

Can you get away this time with the usual strategies??I don't think so.

PRODUCT STATS

Price->?£4.45

Profit->?£1.2

SV of top 10 KWs->?9561 (Low Demand)

LIMITATIONS

  • 2-3 clicks on top keywords shoot up ACOS to?100%
  • CPC on top keywords around the range?£0.5-0.8?which eats up the whole margin
  • Low Demand and High supply hence competition is?fierce
  • Video ads of competitors running on even the lowest SV keywords hence CPC is?High

OBJECTIVE

  • Target highly relevant keywords with the lowest search volume to achieve high CTR
  • Produce a breathtaking PDP with competitive price, eye-catching EBC and a?KILLER COPY?to achieve high CVR
  • The high relevancy of such keywords also contributes to high CVR
  • Spoon-feed?the product to the perfect customer for it as I cannot afford to waste clicks
  • Try different placements with down only strategy to find the?sweet spot
  • End goal is to achieve?1 click for 1 sale?for a list of low SV keywords

RESULTS UPTILL NOW

I have attached a screenshot of just yesterday's PPC campaigns with CVR ranging from?33-100%

As you can see, although the CPC on these KWs is better yet the ACOS still jumps on each click hence why the need for?1 for 1

Already achieved?1 for 1?many times on different days but still in the process of achieving stability

This is?ONE?of the many strategies i have created and implemented to make this product achieve attractive ACOS and TACOS. Thanks to God, everything is going in the right direction and if all goes well, I will be posting this case study soon which will contain all the strategies required to tackle?low priced,?low demand?yet?highly competitive?products

It's a hard thing to run PPC under small priced products. I prefer you must find other ways to advertise that product. All this effort just for breakeven?
