A Few Business Apps To Save Your Sanity

A Few Business Apps To Save Your Sanity

Besides family, faith and money…there are few things that people value more than time. That’s why our team always appreciates finding some apps that will help us find more of it in a day.

There are the obvious apps that help with it, such as Uber. Then, of course, there are the obvious apps that help waste it – such as Facebook and Candy Crush.

But isn’t it time we found a few extra apps that help us streamline our workload and find more time?

Here are a few we found that may help you save a little time and sanity.

EverNote

Few people take notes with a pen and paper anymore. I find it hard to even get my hands on a pen in the office. That’s where this app comes in.

Evernote allows you keep track of all the things you need to write down from saving webpages, reminding yourself of all your upcoming business trips, or simply sharing notes and photos with your co-workers.

This app allows you to move from your mobile device to a desktop computer easily.

There is a free version available but you cam also sign up for the Business Premium Account, which costs $5 per employee per month or $45 a year.

Expensify

This app is great for businesses that send employees on trips often.

This app allows the user to link up a credit or debt card so charges are kept track of directly on the expense report.

Of course, not everyone is too excited to be putting personal information into an app. One of the great things about this app is that you don’t have to.

Users can take a picture of the receipt and the app will automatically save all the necessary information from the image. Expensify only costs $5 to $10 per active account for team and corporate users.

LinkedIn

According to recent findings from the Pew Research Center, approximately 22% of online adults use LinkedIn. This is a great way to showcase your business, learn tips and tricks and read the latest news from thought leaders and influencers.

LinkedIn will help your company grow if you join groups to enlarge your professional network.

Having the app allows you to keep up with updates in your industry in real time.

Your basic account is free…which is plenty for many users. If you don’t already have it, download it today. And make sure to follow my blogs on there. All of the cool kids are doing it.

PhoneTag

If you have read any of my other blogs, you know how much I hate voicemails. Text me. Email me. For the love of God.

If you hate them just as much as me you should invest inn PhoneTag. This app converts any voicemails you get into text. Then they send it to you via text or email with the original voice file just in case.

The price is fairly reasonable. You can either pay $0.35 per message, 40 messages for $9.95/month, or unlimited message for $29.95/month.

What about you? What apps do you use to save you time and money?

LastPass I use their service across my phone, tablet, and desktops to create, change, manage, and sync passwords. In this digital life, its harder and harder to be as secure as you should, and having a password manager is almost a necessity.
