Festive Holidays can also Induce Anxiety

Our Naluri team celebrated the year-end festive season last week with games, music, food and gift exchanges.
I wrote this silly adaptation of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, with a Naluri twist:
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a Social Anxiety Disorder
And if you ever saw him, you won’t, because he wont come out to play...
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
That made poor Rudolph
Have very severe DASS score
Then one foggy Christmas eve
Santa gave Rudolf a Naluri sponsor code
Rudolph, with your anxiety so high
Won’t you talk to Faeza, so don’t cry
Then all of the other coaches
Ser Chyi and Lini, Jennifer and Joyoki
Cheered him on and made him do Modules
He had so much fun with digital tools
Seow Wei gave him a Red for Christmas pudding
And said indulgent meals should be limited to once a week
So, he filled a negative thought journal entry
And said there’s high stress here in his tummy
He asked Shawn for help in the Pain channel
And said his back hurts from pulling a fat man in a sleigh
Shawn asked him to do a Brief Pain Inventory
As he shouted out with glee
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer
You’ll go down to mild severity!
While we celebrate an intense year (only 4 of the 40 people at the party were with us last year!), I was reminded by Tiffanie, that social situations, especially holidays, can be a stressful period for some people.
More than ever, let's be there for each other. If you notice a family member, friend or colleague feeling down during the holidays, ask "How are you feeling?", validate them, and say, "I'm here for you." For more tips on reaching out to help:
