Events and Festivals: Joyful Artistry
During the second edition of India's first inclusive festival, Purple Fest in Goa, 13 artists with disabilities painted live on themes of inclusion, diversity, and nature. The event saw significant footfall, including international visitors, and featured a successful exhibition where artist Aishwarya A. sold one of her paintings.
At the Kala Ghoda Art Festival, six artists with disabilities created three large canvases focusing on sustainability and Mumbai's spirit. The artworks featured a black horse, circular economy themes, and a visionary underwater sustainable world, using recycled materials to enhance the message.
Maruti Suzuki Nexa showroom hosted an art exhibition featuring 10 artworks by 10 artists with disabilities from different states, showcasing the diverse talent across India.
Independence Day: Live Canvas Painting??
Nexus Shantiniketan Mall in Bengaluru hosted "Art for Unity," where three artists with disabilities created large paintings live. This event highlighted inclusion and creativity, drawing a captivated audience. Alice Williams, Sridhar Rangarajan, and Gautam Banerjee poured their hearts and souls into the artwork, making the event a roaring success.
Six artists with disabilities created vibrant paintings on overpopulation, pollution, and deforestation on large canvases for an event by RMZ Galleria Mall. Ajay Jayaprakash painted a scene to showcase Excessive Use of Refrigerators & Air Conditioners. Aishwarya A painted a picture of Deforestation while Thyagraj showcased Overpopulation. Other artists including Shravani and Sridhar highlighted the issues of Excessive Plastic Garbage and Forest Fire.

On India’s 75th Independence Day, four talented artists illustrated India’s culture, cuisine, space exploration, and more on a 10 ft x 6 ft canvas, bringing the concept art by Dhiman Roy to life in just four hours.
In 2022, artists with disabilities decorated over 40 Pepperfry stores with tri-colored post-its, bamboo baskets, paper kites, and various paper art forms, celebrating freedom and diversity.
Diwali: Sustainable Art Events??
In 2023, Nexus Malls took sustainable art to eight cities: Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Hyderabad, Pune, and Amritsar. Artists like Karan Arora, Archana Gokhale, and Aishwarya A. painted iconic monuments on large canvases, inviting participants to co-create with bottle caps and slogans on recycling, promoting a green Diwali.
Pepperfry continued the collaboration for Diwali, featuring fa?ade paintings and papercraft in festive colors across all stores, bringing the spirit of celebration alive.
