Festive Farewell

Those of you who know me well, will know that I am not a big fan of the festive period. I have not spent a Christmas in the UK for 20 years now!

Well this year is no different, apart from the fact that I have decided to send everyone a short Pre-Christmas/New Year message via LinkedIn.

As I have got older my ideas/thoughts about "life" have changed. I no longer stress about what I can or cannot change. I do not worry about the "what if's" and "maybe's" anymore. I simply do the best that I can everyday.

We all find "life" challenging at times, so when things get too much - "Stop".

In mid 2019, I removed myself from all social media (except LinkedIn). It's amazing how much "time" this now gives me. I am no longer scheduling posts, responding to direct messages or thinking about content I can post next week. This one simple change has in a way "set me free" from the "social media rat race" that we all get hooked in to.

So to close, my end of year thoughts are this. Only you can change your life, stop making excuses as to why you can or cannot do something and for goodness sake just do it"
