Correlation between embryos development time and miscarriage?
Scientists from the Netherlands conducted a study of ongoing pregnancies to find differences in embryos’ development between pregnancies that end up with a miscarriage and with a live birth. In the case of miscarriage, embryos take longer to develop, even up to 4 more days in the first ten weeks.
Why do we think it’s important??The study included the creation of 3D holograms of embryos with 3D ultrasound and virtual reality methods, allowing for an exact model of embryos for analysis.

Drugs abuse effects on fertility may be partially reversed
Scientists uncovered a strong correlation between abuse of THC (the primary psychoactive ingredient in cannabis) and male fertility, but so far, the extent of long-term consequences were unknown. A recent study shows that discontinuing the use of THC may partially reverse infertility problems.
