Feroze Jehangir

Born a commoner, Jehangir was the epitome of care, compassion, charm and valor, a rare combination – A true Indian.

He had a zeal to do something for our nation and went ahead, did that. Fought numerous battles and almost brought down the government to its knees.

Corruption and greed is human nature. When India got independence Feroze’ s reluctant father was in a colonial hangover. The nation getting freedom went into a greed and confusion overdrive. Its very important that the iron man of India should have in charge during this time, but that story is for another day.

Feroze fought back like the way some say, his elder son did as well.

Fast forward 15th December 2017 the same story but the protagonist and the actors are different. This time there is a horse trainer. The hope of a lot of people rest on the horse trainer’s trophy.

Feroze’ s tombstone may say he lived his life according to his terms, he suffered a heart attack in 1958.

India is at a cusp.
