Karen shares her inspiring story of building a successful career as a woman in academia, the challenges she faced along the way, and the opportunities that she sees in transforming Higher Education to be a more inclusive field for women to accomplish their full professional potential.

She also talks about the current state of female participation in leadership positions in academia and its evolution over the years, providing insightful data about this important topic that contributes to a better understanding of the current situation and how we can work towards reducing the #GenderGap in higher education.
