Felix Berkhout CEO or TV Star?

When Felix took on the role of CEO at Max Crowdfund, we knew he was a business and finance superstar, but we didn’t know he was also a secret TV personality.?Since then, we have done some digging and uncovered another side of our great leader.?

Beginnings?

Little did we know that Felix’s first national TV appearance took place in his student days. In order to fundraise for a sailing trip with friends, Felix volunteered to appear on a TV game show hoping to win the big cash prize.?Unfortunately, his team didn’t win, but their initial performance did open the door to a chain of television appearances with his university peers, which included game shows, chat shows and an allegedly awkward trip to the hairdressers.?Ahem. On one occasion, he even won an all-expenses paid trip to Nepal and admits to having appeared on television no less than a dozen times!?

Recent Appearances?

Clearly comfortable in front of a camera, Felix has recently filmed a series for the national television channel, RTLZ’s Investors Lounge program. The popular financial show features (broadly well-known) entrepreneurs and finance moguls where they discuss their projects, markets and other related topics. The channel discovered Felix at the Belggesrfair in Rotterdam where he accepted the Cashcow award for Best Crowdfunding Platform on behalf of Max Crowdfund and gave a striking performance despite being unprepared for a television appearance.?He has since recorded four episodes of the Investors Lounge, the last of which will be broadcast on Christmas day.??

A Star is born?

In Felix’s account of the Investors Lounge shoot, he describes meeting some extremely interesting entrepreneurs, potential business contacts and semi-celebrities such as John Beijer. The Investors Lounge was designed in a classic festive setting, with traditional decorations and trays of champagne (which sadly remained unopened).??
