Our truth comes from our feelings, not our thinking.
It’s a powerful concept that we often forget in our daily lives. We get caught up in stories, beliefs, and opinions, and we forget to listen to our hearts. But when we take a moment to tune into our feelings, we can discover our truest selves and our deepest desires.
It’s easy to fall into the trap of telling ourselves stories to justify our decisions. We might say we don’t have enough money, time, or energy to pursue something we really want. But these stories are just excuses we tell ourselves to avoid taking risks or stepping outside our comfort zone.
Instead, let’s try to feel our way through life. When we’re presented with an opportunity, let’s pause and ask ourselves how it makes us feel. Does it excite us? Does it make us feel alive? Or does it fill us with fear and doubt?
When we listen to our feelings, we can make decisions that are aligned with our highest selves. We can say yes to the things that light us up and no to the things that drain us. And when we say no, we can do it with compassion and empathy, knowing that we’re doing what’s best for ourselves at that moment.
So the next time you’re faced with a decision, take a moment to check in with your feelings. Remember that your truth comes from your heart, not your head. Let go of the stories and excuses, and trust that the Universe has your back.
Say yes to the opportunities that excite you and no to the ones that don’t. And always, always listen to your heart. It will never steer you wrong.
