Feeling sourcey?

Feeling sourcey?

This week we are highlighting one of The Assessment Quiz’s most useful assets - Source Tracking

What is a Source and why do I want to track it?

A source is a medium or event through which a user has heard about your quiz

Sources may be any of the following:

  • Your website homepage and menu
  • Your email signature
  • Linkedin profile
  • Clubhouse profile
  • Other social media profiles
  • Paid ads

?

Source tracking is used to trace which post, ad, or campaign are attracting the most prospects to your quiz. With source tracking you can literally track any and all of the online locations that make up your digital footprint so you know where people come from and then optimise your marketing strategy accordingly.

How do I add source tracking to my quiz?

All you need to do is add in /?source=NAMEHERE on the back of your quiz URL.

For example, it could be www.yourquizurl.com/?source=website or www.yourquizurl.com/?source=facebookgroup?

Source tracking has so many benefits such as determining the quality of the source, which ensures your time, effort and budget are being directed to most fruitful activities. It lets you know what’s working and what isn’t and helps you to make data driven decisions.?
