Feeling small amidst nature
Five years ago my wife dragged me onto an overnight train from Hanoi to Sapa to spend a week on a mountain retreat. The daily dose of lush blue skies, farmers singing on padi fields and endless canopy of stars made me see the relative significance of everything else in life. Nature has since become a vital component of all our travels.
Had enormous fun chatting on ChannelNewsAsia about glamping around destinations in Asia, watching the Aurora in Iceland and Abisko, with YvonneChan and TeresaTang on First Look Asia.

7 年Glamping is hardly camping but so memorable! I recall an experience at the Yala National Park in Sri Lanka with one of the early operators - quite the experience to shower with baby frogs for company and having a wild boar saunter through the grounds at bedtime.

7 年Felt the same way after a trip to Mongolia, since then we have traded in shopping malls for big beautiful nature in our travels.
