Hello LinkedIn friends,
One of the biggest challenges I hear from business owners, consultants, or anyone trying to get noticed and do more business with their LinkedIn network is that they don’t feel seen or acknowledged for their expertise.
Why do so many professionals experience this?
Because they don’t know how to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
And…they don’t communicate their unique value proposition.
Here are a few brands that stand out…
Tesla: Pioneered electric vehicles and has a strong focus on sustainability and technology.
Red Bull: Created a new energy drink category and has a strong brand image associated with extreme sports and adventure.
Warby Parker: Disrupted the eyewear industry with its direct-to-consumer model, affordable prices, and stylish frames.
Here are two notable people and what they are known for…
Elon Musk: Known for his visionary approach to technology, coupled with a controversial and outspoken personality.
Oprah Winfrey: known for connecting deeply with her audience and using her platform to inspire and uplift others.
You can probably list other people and brands that stand out to you (feel free to mention the good one in the comments below)
What are you known for?
If you don’t think you can stand out on LinkedIn?? You’d be wrong because there are so few people who really know how to articulate in their LinkedIn profile what they are known for and why people do business with them versus their competitors and what makes them and their services unique.
Get that right and you’ll increase profile views, and more people will want to connect with you and want to know more about you.
