Feeling Safe in Your Body

Have you ever felt so shaken that you couldn't find solid ground, even within yourself?

Last week, I found myself in that exact spot. I woke up feeling unsafe in my own body. Vulnerable. Exposed.

Maybe you've been there too. Perhaps you're there right now.?

Or maybe you’re experiencing some unsettling emotions and would like to find some peace and stability in the midst of them.

Here's what I've learned, especially this past week:

Feeling unsafe is a powerful emotion, but it doesn't mean you ARE unsafe. It means you're brave enough to venture out of your comfort zone.

Still, bravery doesn't mean we can't use a little help.

That's why I've created a meditation focused on feeling safe in our bodies, especially during difficult times. In it, I teach you some practical tools you can use anytime, anywhere.?

?? To shift your nervous system from fight-or-flight to CALM mode.

?? To train your body and mind to find PEACE in the midst of chaos.

You don't need hours; even a few minutes can make a difference.

Let’s try it out. I invite you to take a moment, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and say to yourself: “I am safe now.”

How does that feel?

In the midst of uncertainty, we still have the power to create safety within ourselves.

Uff this is a biiig one. Since my Achilles tendons hurt I have not felt safe jumping or running ... Not feeling safe in our own bodies is a big deal.
